2023 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier
The 2023 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed part of the qualification process for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The first stage of the qualification pathway in the Asia region consisted of two sub-regional qualifiers, held in July and September 2023 in Malaysia and Qatar respectively. Malaysia won all of their matches in the Qualifier B tournament and advanced to the regional final. Kuwait won the Qualifier A to advance to the regional final after defeating Saudi Arabia in their final match. 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup
The ICC Men's T20 World Cup (earlier known as ICC World Twenty20) is the international championship of Twenty20. Organised by cricket's governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC), the tournament consists of 16 teams, comprising the top ten teams from the rankings at the given deadline and six other teams chosen through the T20 World Cup Qualifier. The event has generally been held every two years. In May 2016, the ICC put forward the idea of having a tournament in 2018, with South Africa being the possible host, but the ICC later dropped the idea of a 2018 edition at the conclusion of the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy. Ravija Sandaruwan (born 22 June 1992) is a Sri Lankan-born cricketer who plays for the Kuwait national cricket team. He made his List A debut for Saracens Sports Club in the 2012–13 Premier Limited Overs Tournament in Sri Lanka on 27 December 2012. The wicket-keeper in the sport of cricket is the player on the fielding side who stands behind the wicket or stumps being watchful of the batsman and ready to take a catch, stump the batsman out and run out a batsman when occasion arises.
