2023 Giro D'Italia
The 2023 Giro d'Italia was the 106th edition of the Giro d'Italia, a three-week Grand Tour (cycling), Grand Tour cycling stage race. The race started on 6 May in Fossacesia and finished on 28 May in Rome. There were 3 individual time trial stages and 6 stages longer than 200km. The race was won by Primož Roglič of , taking his fourth Grand Tour victory and becoming the first Slovenian to win the Giro. The 2023 UCI World Tour was a series of races that include thirty-five road bicycle racing, road cycling events throughout the 2023 in men's road cycling, 2023 cycling season. The tour started with the 2023 Tour Down Under, Tour Down Under on 17 January, and concluded with the 2023 Tour of Guangxi, Tour of Guangxi on 17 October. Michael James Matthews (born 26 September 1990) is an Australian professional road and track cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Early career He was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder, and in 2010 he became the 2010 UCI Road World Championships – Men's under-23 road race, Under 23 Road Race World Champion. Vasto ( Abruzzese: '; , ) is a ''comune'' on the Adriatic coast of the Province of Chieti, in southern Abruzzo, Italy. San Salvo ( Abruzzese: ') is a ''comune'' and town in the Province of Chieti in the Abruzzo region of Italy. It is the last Abruzzo town on the Adriatic coast before entering the Molise Region. Individual Time Trial
An individual time trial (ITT) is a road bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock (in French: ''contre la montre'' – literally "against the watch", in Italian: ''tappa a cronometro'' "stopwatch stage"). Ortona
Ortona ( Abruzzese: '; ) is a coastal town and municipality of the Province of Chieti in the Italian region of Abruzzo, with some 23,000 inhabitants.
