The 2023 CAF Champions League final were the final matches of the 2022–23 CAF Champions League, the 59th edition of Africa's premier club association football, football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and the 27th edition under the current CAF Champions League title. The final was contested between Egyptian club Al Ahly SC, Al Ahly and Moroccan club Wydad AC, which is a repeat of the 2022 CAF Champions League final, the second time in CAF Champions League history that two same clubs compete in the final of Champions League consecutively. The 2022–23 CAF Champions League (officially the 2022–23 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League for sponsorship purposes) was the 59th season of Africa's premier club football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the 27th under the current CAF Champions League title. The 2020 CAF Champions League Final, known as The Final of the Century was the final of the 2019–20 CAF Champions League, the 56th edition of Africa's premier club football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and the 24th edition under the current CAF Champions League title. For the first time, the final was played as a single match at a venue pre-selected by CAF. It was originally scheduled to be played on 29 May 2020 at the Japoma Stadium in Douala, Cameroon.
