The 2023 British Supersport Championship season is the 35th British Supersport Championship season, incorporating the 2023 British GP2 Cup. Jack Kennedy (motorcycle racer), Jack Kennedy is the reigning series champion, but did not return to defend his title as he graduated to the 2023 British Superbike Championship. British Supersport Championship
British Supersport Championship is a support series to the British Superbike Championship (BSB) for engine capacities smaller than Superbike. British Supersport runs one or two rounds per weekend at each BSB event. The BSS championship is seen as a stepping stone for the younger talent to progress to the British Superbike Championship or to World level classes. Riders such as: Tom Sykes, Cal Crutchlow, Sam Lowes, Alex Lowes, Jonathan Rea and Leon Camier all raced in this championship during their early careers. James McManus (motorcycle Racer)
} James "Jim" McManus (born March 22, 1951) is an American teacher, writer and poker player living in Kenilworth, Illinois. He is a professor in the Master of Fine Arts program for writers at the Art Institute of Chicago. Poker and ''Positively Fifth Street'' McManus is best known as the author of the book '' Positively Fifth Street: Murderers, Cheetahs, and Binion's World Series of Poker'' (). The book is dedicated to his son, James McManus (1979–2001). The book is based on his trip to Las Vegas to cover the progress of women in the 2000 World Series of Poker (WSOP) and the death of Ted Binion. Lee Johnston (motorcycle Racer)
Lee Johnston (born 16 June 1972) is an English bobsledder who debuted in 1995. Competing in three Winter Olympics (1998, 2002, 2006), he earned his best finish of tenth in the two-man event at Salt Lake City in 2002. Career Johnston also finished fifth in the four-man event at the 2007 FIBT World Championships in St. Moritz. Johnston's brother, Karl, was a crewman for the event. Both brothers come from Whitby, in North Yorkshire. Johnston and his crew were not selected for the squad at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, despite winning the trial races in Germany and Switzerland in 2009. Joel Dale Collier (June 7, 1932 – May 6, 2024) was an American professional football coach who was the head coach of the Buffalo Bills of the American Football League (AFL) from 1966 through part of 1968, compiling a 13–16–1 record.
