2022 Birmingham Stallions Season
The 2022 Birmingham Stallions season was the first season for the Birmingham Stallions as a professional American football franchise. They play as charter members of the United States Football League, one of eight teams to compete in the league for the 2022 season. The Stallions play their home games at Protective Stadium and Legion Field and are led by head coach Skip Holtz. In week 8, the Stallions clinched the South division. Background and history As is the case with all eight teams competing in the league, the Birmingham Stallions take their name and color scheme from a franchise of the same name that competed in the original USFL. Grand Valley State Lakers Football
The Grand Valley State Lakers football team represents Grand Valley State University (GVSU) in NCAA Division II football. The team currently competes in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and was once affiliated with the now defunct Midwest Intercollegiate Football Conference. The Lakers football team has appeared in six NCAA Division II national title games, winning four championships, since 2001. The team has made the playoffs in 20 seasons. Grant Lewis DuBose (born June 20, 2001) is an American football wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Miles and Charlotte. Early years DuBose was born on June 20, 2001, in Montgomery, Alabama. He attended Park Crossing High School and was teammates with Malik Cunningham. Despite competing with and against many top prospects, he was a zero-star recruit and had no offers coming into his senior year. He received his only offer, from the Division II Miles College, ten days before signing day and accepted it. College career As a freshman at Miles in 2019, DuBose saw limited action as a backup, appearing in ten games while posting 104 receiving yards with one touchdown. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. History Early formations, with six- and seven-man lines, used the end as a containment player, whose job was first to prevent an " end run" around his position, then secondarily to force plays inside. Derius Davis (born September 11, 2000) is an American football wide receiver and return specialist for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at TCU.
