The 2023 6 Hours of Fuji was an endurance sports car race held at Fuji Speedway on 10 September 2023. It was the sixth round of the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship, and the tenth running of the event in its current format. Entry list The entry list was released on 20 July 2023. The entry list consisted of 12 Hypercar entries, 11 LMP2 entries, and 13 LMGTE Am entries. In Hypercar, Stoffel Vandoorne replaced Nico Müller in the No. 94 Peugeot 9X8, due to Müller still recovering from a collarbone injury. The 6 Hours of Fuji (formerly the Fuji 1000 Kilometres) is a sports car race held at Fuji Speedway in Oyama, Shizuoka, Japan. The race was held for the first time in 1967, and in 1977 became part of the new Fuji Long Distance Series. In 1982 a second 1000 km race known as ''WEC in Japan'' was run as a round of the World Sportscar Championship. The All Japan Sports Prototype Championship was formed in 1983, and since then co-sanctioned this event. The World Championship left after 1988, but the JSPC carried on both races until 1992. The race was revived in 1999 as an attempt to gauge interest in an Asian Le Mans Series; the series never materialized. (born August 10, 1999) is a Japanese racing driver currently competing in Super Formula for Kuo Vantelin Team TOM'S and Super GT for TGR Team WedsSport Bandoh. Simon Mann (born 10 February 2001) is a British-American racing driver currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship with AF Corse. He finished eighth overall and second in the LMP2 class of the 2012 24 Hours of Le Mans and is the reigning champion of the European Le Mans Series in the LMP2 class.
