Pau Football Club, commonly referred to as Pau FC, is a professional football club based in Pau, capital of Béarn, France. Pau FC plays its home matches at the Nouste Camp and competes in Ligue 2, the second tier of French football. Nicknamed Les Maynats, Pau FC traces its origins to the patronage of the Bleuets de Notre-Dame, officially founded in 1920 in the Mayolis district. By the onset of the 1958–59 season, the Bleuets had ascended to the highest amateur division in the French football league system, prompting religious authorities to acknowledge its sporting prowess, surpassing that of a mere local football club. Under the stewardship of its founding president, José Bidegain, the Bleuets de Notre-Dame's senior team transitioned into the Football-Club de Pau. Loïck Lespinasse (born 20 July 2000) is a French professional association football, footballer who plays as a forward (association football), forward. Born in France, he has previously played for Genêts Anglet, Real Sociedad and Pau FC, Pau. Career Lespinnasse played at the Genêts Anglet from 2018 to 2019, then the forward joined the cantera of Real Sociedad Cantera, Real Sociedad, based in San Sebastián in 2019. He signed his first professional contract in February 2021 and played with Real Sociedad B. Steeve Beusnard (born 27 June 1992) is a French professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Pau FC. Club career After joining the youth academy of Montpellier HSC, Beusnard was not retained due to his late physical development. Beusnard then began his career in the Regional Leagues, playing for several clubs in the Montpellier area. As an amateur, Beusnard worked in the construction industry, specifically in carpentry. Henri Grégoire Saivet (born 26 October 1990) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Clermont. Although initially a France youth international, he played for the Senegal national team from 2013 to 2019.
