The 2022–23 season is the 114th season in the existence of Hartlepool United Football Club and the club's second consecutive season in League Two. In addition to the league, they will also compete in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup and the EFL Trophy. Hartlepool () is a seaside and port town in County Durham, England. It is the largest settlement and administrative centre of the Borough of Hartlepool. With an estimated population of 90,123, it is the second-largest settlement in County Durham. Hartlepool is locally administrated by Hartlepool Borough Council, a unitary authority which also administrates outlying villages of Seaton Carew, Greatham, Hart Village, Dalton Piercy and Elwick. Jamie Michael Sterry (born 21 November 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays for Doncaster Rovers. Career Early career Sterry began his career with Newcastle United, where he progressed through the youth ranks at St James' Park and signed a professional contract in July 2015. Jack Hamilton (born 30 June 2000) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Raith Rovers. Career Livingston Hamilton started his career with Livingston and spent time on loan at Penicuik Athletic, and Berwick Rangers in 2018. During the January 2019 transfer window, Hamilton was then moved out on loan to Alloa Athletic. On 1 July 2019, Hamilton was sent out to Queen of the South on a season long loan. Matthew Alexander Dolan (born 11 February 1993) is an English footballer who plays for club Hartlepool United. Career Middlesbrough Dolan began his career at Middlesbrough and in July 2010 was awarded a four-year professional contract with the club, and was captain of their U21 side. On 4 January 2013, Dolan joined Football League One side Yeovil Town on a months loan deal, and made his debut as a substitute in their Football League Trophy area semi-final defeat against Leyton Orient. Edon Pruti
Edon Pruti (born 8 April 2002) is a professional footballer who plays as a central defender for club Hartlepool United. Pruti is a product of the Stevenage and Burnley academies and began his senior career in non-League football with Hanwell Town and Slough Town. Joseph Grey (born 4 May 2003) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Hartlepool United. Wesley Nurettin McDonald (born 4 May 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger or attacking midfielder for club Partick Thistle. McDonald joined Birmingham City from Fulham as a 16-year-old.
