2022–23 Coupe De France
The 2022–23 Coupe de France was the 106th season of the main football cup competition of France. The competition was organised by the French Football Federation (FFF) and was open to all clubs in French football, as well as clubs from the overseas departments and territories (Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Réunion, Saint Martin, and Saint Pierre and Miquelon). Nantes were the defending champions, having beaten Nice 1–0 in the previous year's final to claim their fourth Coupe de France title. Toulouse defeated Nantes 5–1 in the 2023 final for a first Coupe de France title. 2022–23 Ligue 2
The 2022–23 Ligue 2, commonly known as 2022–23 Ligue 2 BKT for sponsorship reasons, was the 84th season of Ligue 2. It began on 30 July 2022 and ended on 5 June 2023. The league had a break from 12 November to 27 December due to the FIFA World Cup. Two clubs were to be promoted to Ligue 1 at the end of the season as the number of clubs in Ligue 1 was set to be reduced from 20 to 18 for the 2023–24 season. As a result, there were no play-offs held after the end of the regular season.
