2022–23 Arkansas State Red Wolves Men's Basketball Team
The 2022–23 Arkansas State Red Wolves men's basketball team represented Arkansas State University in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Red Wolves, led by sixth-year head coach Mike Balado, played their home games at the First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro, Arkansas as members of the Sun Belt Conference. They finished the season 13–20, 4–14 in Sun Belt play to finish in 13th place. They defeated Coastal Carolina in the first round of the Sun Belt tournament before losing to Troy in the second round. On March 16, 2023, the school fired head coach Mike Balado. On March 22, the school named Alabama assistant coach Bryan Hodgson the team's new head coach. The 2021–22 Georgia State Panthers men's basketball team represented Georgia State University during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Panthers, led by third-year head coach Rob Lanier, played their home games at the GSU Sports Arena in Atlanta, Georgia as members of the Sun Belt Conference. They finished the season 18–11, 9–5 in Sun Belt play to finish in third place. They defeated Arkansas State, Appalachian State, and Louisiana to win the Sun Belt tournament championship. Miami Hurricanes Men's Basketball
The Miami Hurricanes men's basketball team is the college basketball team of the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. The team competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The University of Miami men's basketball team was formed in 1926, but the program was later dropped by the university in 1971. In 1985, fourteen years later, the Hurricanes resumed play as an independent and joined the Big East Conference in 1991, winning the Big East regular season title in 2000. Norchad Omier (born 28 August 2001) is a Nicaraguan college basketball player for Miami Hurricanes of the Atlantic Coast Conference. He previously played for the Arkansas State Red Wolves of the Sun Belt Conference (SBC). Early life and high school career A native of Bluefields, Nicaragua, Omier grew up playing several sports, including baseball. Moberly Area Community College (MACC) is a public community college based in Moberly, Missouri. In addition to the Moberly campus, MACC has four campuses across a large portion of Northeastern and central Missouri: Columbia, Hannibal, Kirksville, and Mexico.
