The 2022 United States House of Representatives elections in Arizona were held on November 8, 2022, to determine the nine representatives of the state of Arizona. The elections coincided with the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election, as well as other elections to the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, and various other state and local elections. Despite losing the concurrent Senate and governor elections, the Republicans flipped both the 2nd and 6th congressional districts, making this the first time that the party controlled six seats in Arizona since 2004. David Sheridan Schweikert ( ; born March 3, 1962) is an American politician and businessman serving as the U.S. representative from since 2023. The district covers northeastern Maricopa County. He previously served as the U.S. representative for from 2013 to 2023. A member of the Republican Party, he first entered Congress in 2011, representing until redistricting.
