2022 Seattle Seahawks Season
The 2022 season was the Seattle Seahawks' 47th in the National Football League (NFL) and their 13th under the head coach/general manager tandem of Pete Carroll and John Schneider. For the first time since 2011, quarterback Russell Wilson and linebacker Bobby Wagner were not on the roster. Wilson was traded to the Denver Broncos and Wagner was released and later signed with the Los Angeles Rams. Both were the last remaining players from their Super Bowl-winning season on the roster. Later that off-season, Bruce Irvin, who played in two Super Bowls with the Seahawks, signed with the team for a third stint. Kenneth Walker III (born October 20, 2000) is an American professional football running back for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and Michigan State Spartans. He won the Walter Camp and Doak Walker Awards in 2021. Bruce Pernell Irvin Jr. (born November 1, 1987) is an American professional football linebacker. He played college football for the West Virginia Mountaineers and was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the first round with the 15th overall pick of the 2012 NFL draft.
