2022 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Tournament
The 2022 NCAA women's gymnastics tournament was the 39th annual NCAA women's gymnastics tournament, the women's gymnastics championship contested by the teams of the member institutions of the NCAA. The first three rounds were hosted on campuses from March 30 to April 2, 2022, and the semi-finals and final were held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas from April 14 to April 16, 2022. Regional championships The top two teams from each region advanced to the championship round, with their names indicated in bold. The regional final competitions were held on April 2. Dickies Arena
Dickies Arena is a 14,000-seat multipurpose arena, located within the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The venue hosted a public ribbon cutting on October 26, 2019. The first event held was a Twenty One Pilots concert on November 8, 2019. The facility is the result of a public-private partnership between Fort Worth, Tarrant County, the state of Texas, and a group of private-sector participants, including foundations, individuals, and organizations. The arena was designed by the 2015 Driehaus Prize winner David M. Schwarz and is owned by Fort Worth and managed by the not-for-profit Multipurpose Arena Fort Worth (MAFW). It hosts concerts, sporting events, and family entertainment, and serves as the home of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. The UCLA Bruins women's gymnastics team represents the University of California, Los Angeles and competes in the Big Ten Conference. They compete in Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles, California. Grace McCallum
Grace Ann McCallum (born October 30, 2002) is an American artistic gymnast. She represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal in the team event. She is the 2018 Pan American and 2018 Pacific Rim individual all-around champion, the 2018 Pan American uneven bars champion, and was a member of the U.S. gymnastics team that won gold at the 2018 and 2019 World Championships and the 2018 Pan American Championships. Utah Utes Women's Gymnastics
The Utah Utes women's gymnastics team, also known as the Red Rocks, represents the University of Utah and competes at the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as members of the Big 12 Conference. Home meets are held in the Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. As of the end of the 2024 season, the Red Rocks have won 10 national championships, including nine NCAA Gymnastics championships, and been runner-up nine times. The Red Rocks are the only team to have qualified for every NCAA Championships and have never finished lower than 10th. Riley Shannon McCusker (born July 9, 2001) is an American artistic gymnast and a six-time member of the United States women's national gymnastics team (2016–2021). She is the 2019 Pan American Games and 2017 United States national uneven bars champion. Alyssa Lyn Baumann (born May 17, 1998) is a retired American artistic gymnast, and has competed for the United States at international events as well as for University of Florida team.
