2022 Florida Elections
A general election was held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, to elect candidates throughout Florida, as part of the 2022 United States elections, 2022 midterm elections. The results of the elections showed strong Republican Party (United States), Republican Party outcomes, as every statewide Republican candidate won in a landslide victory, landslide. The Florida Republican Party also expanded its majority in the state legislature and won 20 out of Florida's 28 U.S. House seats. The Supreme Court of Florida is the state supreme court, highest court in the U.S. state of Florida. It consists of seven justices—one of whom serves as Chief Justice. Six members are chosen from six districts around the state to foster geographic diversity, and one is selected at large. Wilton Earl Simpson (born June 28, 1966) is an American politician who has served as the Florida commissioner of agriculture since 2023.
