The 2022 European Athletics Championships were the 25th edition of the European Athletics Championships and were held in Munich, Germany, from 15 to 21 August 2022. Irene Sánchez-Escribano Figueroa (born 25 August 1992 in Toledo) is a Spanish runner competing primarily in the 3000 metres steeplechase. She represented her country at the 2017 World Championships without reaching the final. Adva Cohen(; born March 24, 1996) is an Israeli runner. As of 2019 she held the Israeli national records in the indoor mile, 3000 metres, and 5000 metres, and outdoor under-23 3000 metres steeplechase, 5000 metres, and half marathon. Biography Adva Cohen was born in Jerusalem, Israel. Her mother, Rika, also runs. Cohen is the youngest of three children. She attended high school at Ort Ramot. She spent two years serving in the Israel Defense Forces. Running career Cohen's first running coach was Roman Ferdman. Cohen won the Israeli national championships in the 1500 metres with 4:24.49 in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 2017. Alicja Konieczek (born 2 November 1994) is a Polish Olympic runner specializing in the 3000 meters steeplechase. In 2020 she joined On Athletics Club sponsored by Swiss company On. She won the gold medal at the 2019 Summer Universiade and the Super League European Team Championships in Chorzow. Tokyo 2020 was her first Olympics, where she ran the second fastest time of her career (9:31.79) and took 20th place. In 2019, she ran 9:44.96 at the IAAF World Championships in Qatar placing 28th. Norah Jeruto Tanui (, born 2 October 1995) is a Kazakhstani (formerly Kenyan) long-distance runner specialising in the steeplechase.
