The 2021–22 season is Sheffield Wednesday F.C., Sheffield Wednesday's first season in EFL League One, League One since the 2011–12 Sheffield Wednesday F.C. season, 2011–12 season, following their relegation from the EFL Championship, Championship. Wayne Jacobs
Wayne Graham Jacobs (born 3 February 1969) is an English football coach and former professional player. He also operates a charity called One In A Million, which he set up after turning to Christianity. Jacobs was a tenacious left back who began his playing career with Sheffield Wednesday, where he would play six First Division games in the 1987–88 season. He was sold to Hull City for a £30,000 fee in March 1988 and would go on to win the club's Player of the Year award. He suffered serious injuries, however, and was released in December 1992. He returned to fitness and spent the 1993–94 season with Rotherham United before he joined Bradford City in August 1994. He spent the next 11 years with Bradford, helping the club to win promotion out of the Second Division via the play-offs in 1996 and then to win promotion into the Premier League at the end of the 1998–99 season. Simon Ireland
Simon Piers Ireland (born 23 November 1971) is an English football coach and former professional player who is a coach at club Port Vale. Ireland played as a midfielder in the Premier League and English Football League for Huddersfield Town, Wrexham (on loan), Blackburn Rovers, Mansfield Town and Doncaster Rovers. Paul Williams (footballer, Born 1971)
Paul Darren Williams (born 26 March 1971) is an English professional football coach and former player who was until August 2022 academy director at Birmingham City. As a player, he was a centre back and midfielder from 1989 until 2005, playing domestically for Derby County, Lincoln City, Coventry City, Southampton and Stoke City and in the USL A-League for Richmond Kickers. Joey Phuthi
Joey Phuthi (born 2 January 2005) is a Zimbabwean professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Eastbourne Borough. Club career Sheffield Wednesday Phuthi moved from his native Zimbabwe to England at the age of 12. He began playing football with Wincobank Juniors, before moving to the academy of Sheffield Wednesday at 13 and worked his way up their youth categories. Sean Sheunesu Fusire (born 31 May 2005) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre midfielder for club Sheffield Wednesday. Born in England, he plays international football for Zimbabwe. Bailey-Tye Cadamarteri (born 9 May 2005) is an English footballer who plays as a striker for club Sheffield Wednesday. Career Sheffield Wednesday Cadamarteri joined the Sheffield Wednesday youth team at the age of 8. Pierce Joseph Charles (born 21 July 2005) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Sheffield Wednesday. Born in England, he represents the Northern Ireland national team. Career Charles was in the youth set-up at Manchester City prior to joining up with Sheffield Wednesday in 2021.
