HNK Hajduk Split
Hrvatski Nogometni klub Hajduk Split, commonly referred to as Hajduk Split (), is a Croatian professional Association football, football Football team, club based in Split, Croatia, Split, that competes in the Croatian First Football League, Croatian First League, the top tier in Croatian football. Since 1979, the club's home ground has been the 33,987-seater Stadion Poljud. The team's traditional home colours are white shirts with blue shorts and blue socks. The idea to form a football club was started by a group of Split students who were studying in Prague. After observing a game between SK Slavia Prague, Slavia and AC Sparta Prague, Sparta Prague, the group gathered at the U Fleků tavern and talked of creating a football club at home. When they returned to Split, they put their plan in motion and Hajduk was founded on 13 February 1911. Nikola Katić
Nikola Katić (; born 10 October 1996) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for 2. Bundesliga club Schalke 04 and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Katić started his professional career at HNK Stolac, before joining Neretvanac Opuzen in 2014. Two years later he switched to Slaven Belupo. In 2018, he moved to Rangers, who loaned him to Hajduk Split in 2021. The following year, Katić signed with Zürich, who sent him on loan to Plymouth Argyle in 2025. Jani Atanasov
Jani Atanasov (; born 31 October 1999) is a Macedonian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for I liga club Puszcza Niepołomice, on loan from Cracovia, and the North Macedonia national team. Club career On 5 June 2018, Atanasov joined Bursaspor after a successful debut season with Akademija Pandev in the Macedonian First Football League. He made his professional debut with Bursaspor in a 2–1 Süper Lig loss to Fenerbahçe on 11 August 2018. Josip Elez
Josip Elez (; born 25 April 1994) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Hajduk Split. Career Elez started his career at NK Solin, his hometown club. At the age of 14 he moved to HNK Hajduk Split, where he spent five years as a youngster and also collected three first team caps in the Croatian First Football League. In July 2013, age 19, Elez was transferred to S.S. Lazio for a fee €400,000. Elez spent the 2014–15 season on loan at Grosseto and Honvéd in Hungary, where he was a regular starter. He spent the following season on loan at Aarhus Gymnastikforening in Denmark, where he made 29 appearances and scored two goals. Dario Melnjak (born 31 October 1992) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a left back for Prva HNL club Hajduk Split. Club career Melnjak started his career in the lower tier , spending most of his youth career there, apart from two seasons at Varteks at under-15 level. After debuting for his club in the 2010–11 season, he moved on to the Treća HNL West team Zelina, where he achieved promotion to Druga HNL in the 2011–12 season. Samuel Emem Eduok (born 31 January 1994) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a winger and striker. Club career Born in Itu, Eduok played for Dolphins and Akwa United, and was the second-top scorer in the 2014 Nigeria Premier League with 20 goals. Nikola Kalinić (; born 5 January 1988) is a Croatian former professional footballer who played as a striker. He was also formerly sports director of Croatian Football League club Hajduk Split. Kalinić began his career with Hajduk Split in his native Croatia, before moving to English club Blackburn Rovers for £6 million in 2009.
