2021–22 División De Honor De Rugby
The 2021–22 División de Honor was the 55th season of the División de Honor, the top flight of Spanish domestic rugby union. Santboiana won its eight title, defeating Ordizia in the final. Competition format The season took place between October and May. The league format was altered for the 2021-22 season. The twelve teams were split into two groups of 6, based on their placings in last season's league. Teams played the other teams in their group twice, and then played a further six games against teams from the other group, making a total of 16 games. The teams were all classified in the same table, with the top eight sides qualifying for the playoffs to decide the champion. UE Santboiana
Unió Esportiva Santboiana is a professional Spanish rugby union club. The club was established in 1921 and currently competes in the División de Honor de Rugby competition, the highest level of Spanish club rugby. The club are based in Sant Boi de Llobregat in Catalonia, considered to be one of the capitals of Rugby union in Spain, Spanish rugby. Santboiana play in blue and white colours. The team have in the past won both the Spanish League and the Copa del Rey de Rugby as well as the Copa de Catalunya and Copa Ibèrica. They were champions of Spain in the 2005-06 season. Santboiana are the former club of Sant Boi de Llobregat native Oriol Ripol, who is among Spain's most successful rugby players. Estadio Pepe Rojo
Estadio Pepe Rojo is a sports stadium located in the city of Valladolid, Spain. It is the home ground of CR El Salvador and Valladolid RAC leading clubs of the División de Honor, the top-level of Spanish rugby. The stadium is named after José Rojo Giralda, the president of the Valladolid Rugby Federation in the 1960s. Club de Rugby El Salvador is a Spanish rugby union club. The club was established in 1960 and currently competes in the men's División de Honor de Rugby and in the women's División de Honor Femenina de Rugby competitions, the highest levels of Spanish club rugby. The club is based in Valladolid in central Spain, playing their matches at the Estadio Pepe Rojo. The club's colours are black and white.
