2021 Virginia Tech Hokies Football Team
The 2021 Virginia Tech Hokies football team represented Virginia Tech during the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Hokies were led by sixth-year head coach Justin Fuente, prior to his departure following the Duke game. J. C. Price took over as the interim head coach for the final two games of the regular season and the bowl game. They played their home games at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia, competing as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium is an American football stadium in Morgantown, West Virginia, on the campus of West Virginia University. It opened in 1980 and serves as the home field for the West Virginia Mountaineers football team. On the day the stadium opened, at an opening ceremony, John Denver touched down on the field in a helicopter, performed the song "Take Me Home, Country Roads," and then immediately departed by helicopter. Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field is the football stadium located at the corner of North Avenue at Techwood Drive on the campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. It has been home to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team, often referred to as the " Ramblin' Wreck", in rudimentary form since 1905 and as a complete stadium since 1913.
