2021 Tour De Suisse
The 2021 Tour de Suisse was a road cycling stage race that took place between 6 and 13 June 2021 in Switzerland. It was the 84th edition of the Tour de Suisse and the 20th event of the 2021 UCI World Tour. Teams All nineteen UCI WorldTeams are joined by three UCI ProTeams and the Swiss national team to make up the twenty-three teams that are participating in the race. Each team entered a squad of seven riders, for a total of 161 riders who started the race. Before Stage 4, pulled out of the race after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19. 124 riders finished the race. 2021 UCI World Tour
The 2021 UCI World Tour was a series of races that included twenty-nine road bicycle racing, road cycling events throughout the 2021 in men's road cycling, 2021 cycling season. The tour started with the opening stage of the 2021 UAE Tour, UAE Tour on 21 February, and concluded with 2021 Il Lombardia, Il Lombardia on 9 October. Events The 2021 calendar was announced in the autumn of 2020. Cancelled events Due to COVID-19 pandemic, COVID-19-related logistical concerns raised by teams regarding travel to Australia (including strict quarantine requirements), the Tour Down Under (19–24 January) and the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race (31 January) were cancelled. Neuhausen am Rheinfall (sometimes abbreviated as Neuhausen a. Rhf., called Neuhausen until 1938) is a town and a municipality in the canton of Schaffhausen in Switzerland. Stefan Küng (born 16 November 1993) is a Swiss cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He is also a citizen of Liechtenstein. Career Küng won the individual pursuit at the 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, after beating Jack Bobridge in the final. Küng only took the lead in the final . In the 2015 Tour de Romandie, he grabbed the biggest victory of his career at that point in solo fashion. An individual time trial (ITT) is a road bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock (in French: ''contre la montre'' – literally "against the watch", in Italian: ''tappa a cronometro'' "stopwatch stage").
