2021 Super Formula Lights
The 2021 Super Formula Lights Championship was the second Super Formula Lights, Super Formula Lights Championship season, after the Japanese Formula 3 Championship was rebranded following the end of the 2019 season. It featured drivers competing in Formula 3 cars with Dallara 320 chassis and with engines made by three different manufacturers, a similar regulation format to the Euroformula Open Championship. Teams and drivers Race Calendar The calendar for the 2021 season was announced on 30 October 2020. The championship supported Super Formula at all of its races. Because of this, the calendar change announced by Super Formula on 12 April 2021 was also adopted by Super Formula Lights. Super Formula Lights
is a national formula racing championship that takes place in Japan. It is a junior-level feeder formula that uses the same single seater chassis as the pan-European Euroformula Open Championship. The series will be the first with the new branding as a feeder series for the Super Formula championship. The nomenclature is similar to that of IndyCar, whose support series as formerly used the "Lights" moniker. B-Max Racing Co., Ltd also known as B-Max Racing Team and B-Max Engineering is a Japanese race car constructor and racing team headquartered in Ayase, Kanagawa, Japan. Mobility Resort Motegi (モビリティリゾートもてぎ) is a motorsport venue located in Motegi, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. Originally Twin Ring Motegi (ツインリンクもてぎ), the venue's name came from the facility having two race tracks: a oval track and a road course. It was built in 1997 by Honda Motor Co., Ltd., as part of the company's effort to bring the Championship Auto Racing Teams series to Japan, helping to increase their knowledge of American open-wheel racing.
