2021 NCAA Division I Indoor Track And Field Championships
The 2021 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships were the 56th NCAA Division I Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships and the 39th NCAA Division I Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships, held at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas near the campus of the host school, the University of Arkansas. In total, thirty-four different men's and women's indoor track and field events were contested from March 11 to March 13, 2021. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was closed to the public. He attended Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, where he excelled in track and field. Jacory Patterson (born February 2, 2000) is an American track and field athlete specializing in the sprints. A native of Columbia, South Carolina, he won a gold medal at the 2016 USATF Junior Olympics in the long jump before focusing on sprinting events. Patterson attended Dreher High School in Columbia, where he broke the state record in the 200 m and won a state title in the 400 m. As a freshman at Virginia Tech in 2019, Patterson set the world under-20 record in the indoor 300 m with a time of 32.49 s. Randolph Ross (born January 1, 2001) is an American athlete specializing in the 400 metres, who competes collegiately for the North Carolina A&T Aggies. He is coached by his father Duane Ross, who was also an Olympian in the 110 m hurdles. On February 12, 2021 at the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, South Carolina, Ross ran the 400 m in 45.21 seconds, which was the fastest time in the nation in 2021 at the time. Joseph Fahnbulleh (born 11 September 2001) is a Liberian-American sprinter. An Olympic finalist, Fahnbulleh is a double NCAA champion and finished fourth at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in the 200 meters race.
