2021 France Rugby Union Tour Of Australia
In July 2021, France played a three-test series against Australia as part of the 2021 July International window. The series was played in a condensed window of 11 days, due to French club commitments and a Covid-19 hotel quarantine period for the visitors. Fabien Galthié
Fabien Galthié (; born 20 March 1969) is a French rugby union coach and former player, currently the head coach of the France national team. His usual position was at scrum-half. He played much of his club rugby for Colomiers, and later on in his career, Stade Français. Galthié won 64 caps for France, including playing in four Rugby World Cups, as well as captaining the side at the 2003 World Cup. Former France national coach Bernard Laporte has described him as the greatest scrum-half in French history. He was the IRB International Player of the Year in 2002. Since retiring as a player, Galthié has coached Stade Français, Montpellier and Toulon in the French Top 14 competition. Laurent Labit (born 8 May 1973) is a retired French rugby union footballer and manager. Early life Labit was born in Revel, France. He began his playing career in his home town of Rugby Club Revélois before moving to Castres. Career He started his playing career at Rugby Club Revelois. Labit later joined Castres Olympique where he won the 1992–93 French Rugby Union Championship at the Parc des Princes against Grenoble by beating them 14-11 in the final, in a match decided by an irregular try accorded by the referee. A try by Olivier Brouzet is denied to FC Grenoble and the decisive try by Gary Whetton was awarded by the referee, Daniel Salles, when in fact the defender Hueber from Grenoble touched down the ball first in his try zone. Dave Rennie
Dave Rennie (born 22 November 1963) is a New Zealand and Cook Islands professional rugby union coach and former player. He will take over the Kobe Steelers as head coach for the 2023–24 season. He previously was the head coach of the Australia national rugby union team from 2020 to 2023, having previously coached New Zealand sides the Chiefs, , , the New Zealand U20, as well as in Scotland, with Glasgow Warriors from 2017 to 2020.
