2021 Bulgarian Cup Final
The 2021 Bulgarian Cup final was the final match of the 2020–21 Bulgarian Cup and the 81st final of the Bulgarian Cup. The final took place on 19 May 2021 at Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia. The clubs contesting the final were FC Arda Kardzhali, Arda Kardzhali and PFC CSKA Sofia, CSKA Sofia. For the symbolic hosts, this was their historic first cup final, while for CSKA, it was the 2nd consecutive and 34th overall. This was the 3rd time both teams faced each other in the tournament's history. CSKA Sofia won the final by the score of 1–0 and lifted their 21st cup title, ending a 5-year drought after their last triumph in 2016 Bulgarian Cup Final, 2016. 2020–21 Bulgarian Cup
The 2020–21 Bulgarian Cup was the 39th official edition of the Bulgarian annual football knockout tournament. The competition began on 29 September 2020 with the preliminary round and finished with the final on 19 May 2021. Lokomotiv Plovdiv were the defending cup winners, but were eliminated after extra time by Ludogorets Razgrad in the quarter-finals. After CSKA Sofia missed out on the cup after losing last year's final, this time they won it against Arda Kardzhali for their 21st cup title and qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2021–22 UEFA Europa Conference League. Spas Borislavov Delev (; born 22 September 1989) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Lokomotiv Sofia. Club career Youth career Born in Klyuch, part of Petrich Municipality, Delev started to play football in Pirin. During the season 2007–08 he played for the team in the Bulgarian amateur division. Ivan Angelov Tilev ( Bulgarian: Иван Ангелов Тилев; born 5 January 1999) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a winger for Arda Kardzhali. Lachezar Hristov Kotev (; born 5 January 1998) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Arda Kardzhali. Club career On 11 February 2023, Kotev signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Russian Premier League club Khimki. Plamen Krumov (; born 4 November 1985) is a Bulgarian retired professional footballer and now manager, currently working at Rilski Sportist. In the early years of his career, he usually played as a winger, but has later been converted to right-back. Career Playing Krumov began his career at Lokomotiv Sofia where he made 17 A PFG appearances in four seasons. Whilst at Lokomotiv Stadium he spent time out on loan at Zagorets, Rilski Sportist and Armenian club Banants Yerevan before joining Minyor Pernik on a permanent basis in the early of 2009.
