2021 All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship
The 2021 All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship was the fourth staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 58th staging overall of a Gaelic football championship for players between the minor and senior grades. The competition began on 1 July and ended on 15 August 2021. The defending champion was Galway; however, the team was beaten by Mayo after a penalty shootout in the Connacht semi-final. The final was played on 15 August 2021 at Croke Park in Dublin, between Offaly and Roscommon, in what was their first ever championship meeting. Offaly won the match by 1-14 to 1-11 to claim a second title and a first title since 1988. Dr Hyde Park
Dr. Hyde Park (''Páirc de hÍde'' in Irish language, Irish) is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) stadium in Roscommon, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Built in 1969 and officially opened in 1971, it is the home of the Roscommon county football team, with Athleague being the traditional home for the Roscommon county hurling team. Named after Gaelic scholar and first President of Ireland, Douglas Hyde, the ground previously had a capacity of about 33,612, which was reduced to 18,500 after a nationwide inspection of facilities by the GAA in 2011. Remedial works were planned to raise the capacity to 25,000. At present, the capacity is 25,000. At the start of 2023, a refurbishment project began, which saw the ground's capacity increase to 25,000. Aughrim County Ground, known for sponsorship reasons as Echelon Park Aughrim, is a GAA stadium in Aughrim, County Wicklow, Ireland. Aughrim County Ground is the name of the home of Gaelic Games for County Wicklow (Gaelic football, Hurling, Camogie, Ladies Football) team. The ground has a capacity of about 7,000. The name "O'Byrne Park" was occasionally used in the past, but this has never been the official name: this mistake that came about because of the Irish name for the local village of Aughrim, "Aughrim of the O'Byrnes" (''Eachdhruim Uí Bhroin''). Wicklow GAA
The Wicklow County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) () or Wicklow GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Wicklow. St Conleth's Park
Cedral St Conleth's Park () is a GAA stadium in Newbridge, County Kildare, Ireland. It is the county ground of Kildare's Gaelic football, hurling, and Ladies' Gaelic Football teams. It also served as the town's greyhound racing track from 1948 until 1968. The park is named for Conleth (Conláed; –519), the parish's patron saint. The Kildare County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), or Kildare GAA, is one of 12 county boards governed by the Leinster provincial council of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for the administration of Gaelic games in County Kildare. Leinster Under-20 Football Championship
The Leinster GAA Football Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Leinster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county Gaelic football competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county football competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Leinster. The championship was contested as the Leinster Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2016 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2018. It is sponsored by EirGrid. The final, currently held in July, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during a five to six-week period, and the results determine which team receives the Flood Cup.
