The 2020–21 Russian Women's Handball Super League was the 28th season of Russian Women's Handball Super League, Russia's premier handball league. Rostov-Don are the defending club. The Russian Handball Federation streams every match of the league on their website. Russian Women's Handball Super League
The Russian Women's Handball Superleague is the premier women's handball competition in Russia. Currently eleven clubs take part in the competition, with the top eight playing the championship play-offs. The Russian Championship's leading teams have been successful in EHF's competitions. Zvezda Zvenigorod won the Champions League and the EHF Cup, while Dynamo Volgograd, Istochnik Rostov and Lada Togliatti have won either the EHF Cup or the Cup Winners' Cup. Kuban Krasnodar, Luch Moscow (f. Trud) and Rostselmash also won international competitions back in the Soviet era. Maykop
Maykop is the capital city of Adygea, Russia, located on the right bank of the Belaya River. It borders Maykopsky District, from which it is administratively and municipally independent, to the east and south; Giaginsky District to the north, and Belorechensky District of Krasnodar Krai to the west. Zvenigorod () is a types of inhabited localities in Russia, town in the Moscow Oblast of western Russia. In 2010 it had a population of about 16,000. Zvezda Zvenigorod (, lit. ''Star Zvenigorod'') is a Russian women's handball club from Zvenigorod, near Moscow. Astrakhan
Astrakhan (, ) is the largest city and administrative centre of Astrakhan Oblast in southern Russia.
