2020–21 Derde Divisie
The 2020–21 Derde Divisie season was the fifth edition of the Dutch fourth tier, formerly called Topklasse, since the restructuring of the league system in the summer of 2016. Effects of the 2020 coronavirus pandemic In the previous season, on 31 March 2020, the KNVB decided to cancel all competitions at amateur level. They also decided, for those competitions involved, there would be no final standings, and therefore no champions, no promotions and no relegations. As a result, this season starts with most of the same teams as the previous season. On 7 April 2020, FC Lienden announced the withdrawal of its Sunday team. The club had run into financial problems for some time after Lienden indicated that it would no longer sponsor the team and it was not possible to find a new main sponsor. Derde Divisie
The Derde Divisie (; ), formerly known as Topklasse (; ), is the fourth tier of football in the Netherlands, which had its inaugural season as a third tier in 2010–11 and as a fourth tier in 2016–17. The league is placed between the Tweede Divisie and the Vierde Divisie (formerly Hoofdklasse), the third and fifth tiers of Dutch football, respectively. The introduction of the then Topklasse resulted from discussions between the Royal Dutch Football Association, the ''Coöperatie Eerste Divisie'' (the clubs in the Eerste Divisie) and the ''Centraal Overleg Hoofdklassers'' (the clubs in the Hoofdklasse). Ter Leede
Ter Leede is a football club based in Sassenheim, Netherlands. The club was established on 30 April 1930, as a merger of the clubs ''Poellaan'' and ''Roda''. The men's team is currently playing in the Dutch Vierde Divisie. The women's team played in the women's Hoofdklasse, the highest level of women's football in the country, until the introduction of the Eredivisie in 2007. It never fielded a women's team in the Eredivisie and now plays in the Topklasse, the third level of Dutch women's football. Voetbalvereniging Sterk Door Combinatie, more commonly known as VV SteDoCo or simply SteDoCo, is a Dutch football club based in the towns of Hoornaar and Hoogblokland in the Molenlanden. It currently plays in the Derde Divisie, the fourth tier of Dutch football. The club plays their home games at Sportpark SteDoCo. HSV ODIN '59 is a football club from Heemskerk, Netherlands. The club was founded in 1959 and is currently playing in the Vierde Divisie. ODIN stands for Ons Doel Is Nuttig (Our goal is useful). FC Lisse is a Dutch football club from Lisse, founded in 1981. It currently plays in the Derde Divisie. History The history of FC Lisse is linked to its Catholic religion, the first version of a football club being formed in 1911 by a local Catholic priest, called Lissese Voetbal Vereniging, which was later renamed Lisse Racing Club. In 1921 a separate team, RKVV Lisse, was formed. In 1942 Lisse RC was dissolved, and after World War Two another club, Lisser Boys, was formed.
