The 2020–21 season was the first season of ATK Mohun Bagan FC since the merger of ATK and Mohun Bagan. This merged club competed in ISL, one of the top flights of Indian football, as well as in the AFC Cup (because of delays, the AFC Cup campaign has been moved to 2021–22 season). ATK Mohun Bagan FC () is an Indian professional football club based in Kolkata, West Bengal. The club competes in Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. The club, which was formed as a merger between the football section of multi-sport club Mohun Bagan AC and the ATK FC, began to play from the 2020–21 season as ATK Mohun Bagan FC. The entity continues with the existing registration of Mohun Bagan AC with AIFF and IFA (W.B.), and its history and tradition. The principal owner of ATK Mohun Bagan is Sanjiv Goenka led consortium called Kolkata Games & Sports with Mohun Bagan AC serving as the co-owner. Carl Gerard McHugh (born 5 February 1993) is an Irish professional footballer who plays for Indian Super League club ATK Mohun Bagan. Primarily a central defender, McHugh can also play as a left-back, and even as a defensive midfielder. José Luis Espinosa Arroyo (born 14 July 1991), known as Tiri, is a Spanish footballer who plays for Indian Super League club ATK Mohun Bagan FC as a defender. Arindam Bhattacharya (born 11 December 1989), is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for NorthEast United in the Indian Super League.
