2020 Detroit Lions Season
The 2020 season was the Detroit Lions' 91st in the National Football League (NFL) and their third and final season under head coach Matt Patricia. The Lions improved on their 3–12–1 record from the previous season, but were eliminated from playoff contention for the fourth consecutive year following their loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 15. The Lions finished 5–11, and last place in the NFC North for the third consecutive season. NFC North
The National Football Conference – Northern Division or NFC North is one of the four divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). Nicknamed the "Black and Blue Division" for the rough and tough rivalry games between the teams, it currently has four members: the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings, with the latter three based within most definitions of the Upper Midwest. Joshua Samuel Garnett (born February 21, 1994) is an American former professional football player who was a guard in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Stanford Cardinal and was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft. Jeff Davidson (born October 3, 1967) is an American professional football coach and former player in the National Football League (NFL). He was the offensive coordinator of the Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns. Paul Lucian Pasqualoni (; born August 16, 1949) is an American football coach who recently served as the linebackers coach for the Memphis Showboats of the United Football League (UFL). He most recently was the defensive line coach for the Carolina Panthers. Alfred James Golden Jr. (born July 4, 1969) is an American professional football coach and former tight end who is the defensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). Brian Stewart (born December 4, 1964) is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator for Middle Tennessee. He was previously the defensive backs coach at Baylor University and defensive coordinator at Rice University for the 2017 season. Early years Stewart attended Nogales High School. John Bonamego
John Frank Bonamego (born August 14, 1963) is an American football coach who serves as a special teams assistant for the Tennessee Volunteers. He recently served as a senior coaching assistant for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He has two decades of college and pro coaching experience. Harold Nash
Harold Nash, Jr. (born May 5, 1970) is an American football strength and conditioning coach of the National Football League (NFL). He is also a former defensive back in the Canadian Football League (CFL). Playing career Nash attended St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, Louisiana where he played defensive back. He then attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana, where he went from a walk-on defensive back in 1988 to being voted a permanent team captain by 1992. Brayden Coombs (born October 24, 1986) is a former American football coach who was the special teams coordinator for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). 2020 Houston Texans Season
The 2020 season was the Houston Texans' 19th season in the National Football League (NFL) and their seventh and final season under head coach Bill O'Brien. Following their week 10 loss to the Cleveland Browns, they failed to match/improve their 10–6 record from last year and failed to win 10 or more games for the first time since the 2017 season.
