2020 Depok Mayor Election
2020 Depok mayoral election is the general election to elect the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Depok for the period 2021 – 2024. This election was held by the Depok City Election Commission (KPU) which was held on December 9, 2020. Background This election is the fourth regional head election which is conducted directly elected by the community. Mohammad Idris who was elected as mayor in the 2015 election can apply for re-nomination as Mayor of Depok in this election. Mohammad Idris
Mohammad Idris Abdul Shomad (born 25 July 1961) is the mayor of Depok. Active in various Islamic organizations in Indonesia, he was first elected in the 2015 local elections and was officially made mayor in 2016. Prior to becoming mayor, he served as deputy between 2011 and 2016. Personal life As a child, he studied in a Muhammadiyah-run primary school, before continuing to a madrasa and later to a pesantren in Ponorogo, East Java. The Crescent Star Party ( id, Partai Bulan Bintang) is a political party in Indonesia. History The party's origins go back to the banning of the Islamic Masyumi Party by Sukarno in 1960. After the ban, supporters and followers of the party established the Crescent Star Family (''Keluarga Bulan Bintang'') to continue to press for the implementation of Sharia law and Islamic teaching in Indonesia. 2020 Indonesian Local Election

Mochamad Ridwan Kamil (born 4 October 1971) is an Indonesian architect and politician who is the 15th Governor of West Java, the most populous province of Indonesia. He was also the mayor of Bandung from 2013 to 2018.
