2020 Campeonato Paulista
The 2020 Campeonato Paulista de Futebol Profissional da Primeira Divisão - Série A1 was the 119th season of São Paulo's top professional football league. Format *In the first stage the sixteen teams were drawn, with seeding, into four groups of four teams each, with each team playing once against the twelve clubs from the other three groups. The Campeonato Paulista Série A1, commonly known as Campeonato Paulista, nicknamed Paulistão, is the top-flight professional state football league in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. In association football, a penalty shoot-out (previously known as kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a tie (draw), draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as Overtime (sports)#Association football, extra time (if used) has expired. Tiago Retzlaff Nunes (born 15 February 1980) is a Brazilian football coach, currently in charge of Ecuadorian club LDU Quito. Career Early career Born in Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Nunes was a youth player at hometown side Riograndense; initially a midfielder, he switched to central defender before ending his playing career due to a knee injury. Tatuapé (, from Tupi Guarani "path of the armadillo", or "short way") is a district in the subprefecture of Mooca, in São Paulo, Brazil. It is divided by a railway and the eight lane Radial Leste highway cutting the district into two, northern and southern, parts. It is home to Platina 220, the tallest building of São Paulo, scheduled to be fully operational in 2022. Goal difference, goal differential or points difference is a form of tiebreaker used to rank sport teams which finish on equal points in a league competition. Either "goal difference" or "points difference" is used, depending on whether matches are scored by goals (as in ice hockey and association football) or by points (as in rugby union and basketball).
