2019–20 Serbian First League
The 2019–20 Serbian First League was the 15th season of the Serbian First League since its establishment. 2019–20 league format In 2019–20 season 16 teams competed in regular season. At the end of regular season top 8 teams were supposed to play promotion playoff round, while 8 lowest placed teams were supposed to play in the relegation playoff round. At the end of relegation playoff four bottom placed teams will be relegated to the Serbian League. At the end of promotion playoff round two top placed teams will earn promotion into Serbian SuperLiga, while third and fourth placed teams will play additional two round promotion playoff games against thirteen and fourteen placed teams from 2019–20 Serbian SuperLiga. Serbian First League
The Serbian First League ( sr, Прва лига Србије / Prva liga Srbije), referred to as the Mozzart Bet First League ( sr, Моцарт Бет Прва лига / Mozzart Bet Prva liga) for sponsorship reasons, is the name for the second tier in professional Serbia's football league. The league was formed in 2005, following a reshuffle of the second tier Serbo-Montenegrin divisions. It is operated by the Football Association of Serbia. Format The league is usually formed by 16 clubs which play all against one another twice, once at home, once away. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Football Association of Serbia completed a restructure of the league system, and in season 2020/2021 that meant 18 clubs would be competing in the Serbian First League, the number of clubs will go back to the usual 16 following the conclusion of the 2020-2021 season. The Serbian League () is the third level football league in Serbia. It consists of four groups, namely Belgrade, East, Vojvodina, and West. The winner of each group earns promotion to the Serbian First League. Fudbalski klub Inđija Toyo Tires () is a football club based in the city of Inđija, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian First League, the second tier of the national league system. FK Javor Ivanjica
Fk Javor Matis () is a professional football club based in Ivanjica, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian SuperLiga, the top tier of the national league system. History In 1912, a student named Milan Radojević brought the first football ball to Ivanjica, which led to the formation of the club. The team mostly played friendly matches before the conclusion of World War II due to a lack of organized football competitions. Between 1958 and 1962, they were close to achieving promotion to the Yugoslav Second League. However, the club never reached higher than the third level until the 1990s. FK Bežanija () is a football club based in Bežanija, Belgrade, Serbia. They compete in the Belgrade Inter-Municipal League, the sixth tier of the national league system. OFK Bečej 1918 () is a football club based in Bečej, Vojvodina, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian League Vojvodina, the third tier of the national league system. History After winning the Vojvodina League in the 1988–89 season, the club spent two years in the Yugoslav Inter-Republic League (Group North). Fudbalski klub Zemun (Serbian Cyrillic: Фудбалски клуб Земун) is a Serbian professional football club based in Zemun, Belgrade, that competes in the Serbian League Belgrade. 2018–19 Serbian SuperLiga
The 2018–19 Serbian SuperLiga was the thirteenth season of the Serbian SuperLiga since its establishment. Red Star was the defending champions from the previous season.
