Dumbarton (; , or ; or , meaning 'fort of the Britons (historical), Britons') is a town in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland, on the north bank of the River Clyde where the River Leven, Dunbartonshire, River Leven flows into the Clyde estuary. The Scottish League One, known as William Hill (bookmaker), William Hill League One for sponsorship reasons, is the third tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men's professional association football, football clubs in Scotland. Ryan Thomson (born 13 April 1991) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a midfielder who plays for Scottish club Darvel in the sixth tier of Scottish football. Thomson has previously played for Dunfermline Athletic, Dumbarton and Stranraer, as well as Albion Rovers on loan. Michael Paton (born 25 March 1989) is a Scottish former professional football player and coach, who works as assistant manager for Kelty Hearts. Ross Perry (born 7 February 1990) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a centre back for Darvel. He has previously played for Rangers, Oxford United, Falkirk, Raith Rovers, Northampton Town, Brechin City, Clyde, Albion Rovers and Dumbarton. William Dyer (born 25 February 1987 in Glasgow) is a Scottish professional footballer, who plays for Drumchapel United. He has previously played for St Johnstone, Brechin City, Raith Rovers, Greenock Morton, Dundee, Dumbarton and East Stirlingshire. Grant Adam
Grant Adam (born 16 April 1991) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Dundee North End. Brian Stuart McLean (born 28 February 1985) is a football manager and former player. He is at St. Cadoc's Y.C. as a first team coach. He was recently manager of Scottish League Two club Clyde.
