2019–20 Club Atlético Independiente Season
The 2019–20 season is Independiente's 7th consecutive season in the top division of Argentine football. In addition to the Primera División, the club are competing in the Copa Argentina, Copa de la Superliga and Copa Sudamericana. The season generally covers the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020. () is an Argentine professional sports club, which has its headquarters and stadium in Avellaneda, a city of the Buenos Aires Province. Elías Contreras
Elías Contreras (born 7 March 1997) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a right midfielder for Estudiantes de Buenos Aires. Career Contreras' career started in the youth academy of Independiente. He signed his first professional contract with them in July 2018. On 26 June 2019, Primera B Nacional side Brown announced a loan deal had been agreed for Contreras. He made his professional debut in their 2019–20 league opener against Atlético de Rafaela on 17 August, as he replaced Fernando Enrique for the final twelve minutes of a 1–1 draw. Damián Alberto Martínez is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Atlético Tucumán in the Argentine Primera División. Career Club Martínez started his career with San Lorenzo in 2009, making his professional debut on 3 April in an Argentine Primera División match with Arsenal de Sarandí.
