Ivirua (Cook Islands Electorate)
Ivirua is a Cook Islands electoral division returning one member to the Cook Islands Parliament. Its current representative is Agnes Armstrong, who has held the seat since she won it in a by-election in 2019. Elections in the Philippines are of several types. The president, vice-president, and the senators are elected for a six-year term, while the members of the House of Representatives, governors, vice-governors, members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial board members), mayors, vice-mayors, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod/ members of the Sangguniang Bayan (city/municipal councilors), barangay officials, and the members of the Sangguniang Kabataan (youth councilors) are elected to serve for a three-year term. 2019 Telangana Local Elections
Local elections were held in the Indian state of Telangana in 2019 for various rural local bodies including 12,751 gram panchayats, 538 Zilla Parishad territorial constituencies, and 5,817 Mandal Parishad territorial constituencies. Gram panchayat elections were held in January 2019 whereas ZPTC and MPTC elections were held in May 2019. Almost 4,000 new panchayats were created in 2018 which went through their first election. Background The previous Telangana rural local body elections held in united Andhra Pradesh in 2013 and 2014. The Indian state of Telangana was officially formed on 2 June 2014. Since then, elections in the state are conducted in accordance with the Constitution of India to elect representatives of various bodies on national, state and district levels. Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council
The Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council (RHAC) was constituted by the Government of Assam in 1995. It was constituted for development in the areas of economic, educational, socio-cultural and ethnic identity of Rabha people residing in the council area. Sonowal Kacharis
The Sonowal Kachari ( as, Xonowāl Kosāree) are one of the indigenous peoples of the state of Assam in Northeast India. They are of Tibeto-Burman origin, and are closely associated with the other ethnic groups of Assam which are commonly referred to as Kachari. The name Sonowal comes from the word 'Son' ( as, Xon) which means gold in Assamese.The traditional occupation of the Sonowal kacharis was gold panning, that is extracting gold from the riverbeds. The Kacharis those were appointed as gold-washers by the Ahom kings were organised into Sonowal Khel.
