K-pop (; an abbreviation of "Korean popular music") is a form of popular music originating in South Korea. Hinapia (abbreviated from Hi New Amazing Utopia; stylized in all caps) was a South Korean girl group formed by OSR Entertainment. The group was composed of five members: Minkyeung, Yaebin, Gyeongwon, Eunwoo, and Bada. Hinapia debuted on November 3, 2019 with the single album ''New Start''. They disbanded on August 21, 2020. SuperM () was a South Korean Supergroup (music), supergroup formed in 2019 by SM Entertainment and Capitol Music Group. The group consisted of seven members from four SM Entertainment boy bands: Taemin from Shinee, Baekhyun and Kai (entertainer, born 1994), Kai from Exo, Taeyong and Mark (rapper), Mark from NCT 127, Ten (singer), Ten from WayV, and Lucas (rapper), Lucas, who is a former NCT (group), NCT and WayV member. Rolling Quartz () is a South Korean rock band that debuted in December 2020 under Rolling Star Entertainment. History 2019-present: Formation and debut Rolling Quartz formed as a five member rock group in August 2019. They were originally two separate bands, under the names "Rolling Girlz" and "Rose Quartz", but they merged into a single group, merging their names to be "Rolling Quartz". For the first year of their career, Rolling Quartz performed primarily in clubs, especially in the Hongdae region of Seoul. Rocket Punch (; or as RCPC) was a South Korean girl group formed and managed by Woollim Entertainment in 2019. The group consisted of six members: Yeonhee, Suyun, Yunkyoung, Sohee, and Dahyun. Former member Juri Takahashi, Juri departed from the group on May 24, 2024, after her contract with Woollim expired. They debuted on August 7, 2019, with the extended play (EP) ''Pink Punch''. OnlyOneOf () is a South Korean boy band formed by 8D Entertainment in 2019. The group debuted on May 28, 2019, with ''Dot Point Jump''. History 2019: Debut with ''Dot Point Jump'' and first comeback ''Line Sun Goodness'' On May 1, 8D Creative announced the debut of a seven-member group called OnlyOneOf, which stands for "someone's only one". The style pursued by the group was described as "ubersexual," indicating a mix of softness and strong masculine sexiness. The members trained for three years, coming up with songs, stage composition, costumes and concepts themselves for the weekly evaluations. Onewe (; stylized in all caps; ) is a South Korean alternative rock band composed of five members: Yonghoon, Harin, Kanghyun, Dongmyeong and Giuk (formerly known as CyA). Oneus (, pronounced as "One Us") is a South Korean boy band formed by RBW. The group consists of five members: Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong and Xion. Originally a sextet, Ravn left in October 2022. The group released their debut extended play ''Light Us'' on January 9, 2019.
