Rod Carey
Roderick Charles Carey (born July 24, 1971) is an American college football coach and former player who last served as the offensive coordinator for the Indiana Hoosiers. He served as the head football coach at Northern Illinois University from 2012 to 2018 and Temple University from 2019 to 2021. Early years Carey was born in Madison, Wisconsin and played college football as a center at Indiana University Bloomington from 1990 to 1993. 2019 NCAA Division I FBS Football Rankings
Two human polls and a committee's selections comprise the 2019 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) football rankings, in addition to various publications' preseason polls. Unlike most sports, college football's governing body, the NCAA, does not bestow a national championship, instead that title is bestowed by one or more different polling agencies. There are two main weekly polls that begin in the preseason—the AP Poll and the Coaches Poll. One additional poll, the College Football Playoff (CFP) ranking, is released midway through the season after the ninth week. The CFP rankings determine who makes the four-team playoff which determines the College Football Playoff National Champion. Zachary John Mesday (born October 25, 1994) is an American football free agent defensive end/linebacker from Hamilton Township, Mercer County, New Jersey who played college football for Temple University, where he originally walked-on and eventually earned a sixth year of eligibility and scholarship as a graduate student. The Butkus Award, instituted in 1985 by the Downtown Athletic Club of Orlando, is given annually to the top linebackers at the high school, collegiate and professional levels of football. The award, named in honor of College Football Hall of Fame and Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker Dick Butkus, is presented by the Butkus Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports a number of health and wellness activities including the "I Play Clean" anti-steroid program. Anthony Russo (born December 6, 1997) is a former American football quarterback. He played college football for Temple and Michigan State. He also played for the San Antonio Brahmas of the XFL.
