2019 Football NSW Season
The Football NSW 2019 season was the seventh season of football in New South Wales under the banner of the National Premier Leagues. The competition consists of four divisions across the state of New South Wales. Wollongong Wolves, as the Premiers of the NPL NSW Men's 1, qualified for the national finals, where they became the champion of the 2019 National Premier Leagues, and in doing so received an automatic spot in the 2020 FFA Cup. Due to a restructure of Men's and Boys' competitions for the 2020 season, this was the last season that the Club Championship determined the teams for promotion and relegation. Football New South Wales
Football NSW is the governing body for association football, soccer in the Australian state of New South Wales, with the exception of the northern regions of NSW (the governing body for which is Northern New South Wales Football). APIA Leichhardt Football Club, also known simply as APIA (Associazione Poli-sportiva Italo Australiana), is a semi-professional soccer club based in the suburb of Leichhardt, New South Wales, Leichhardt in Sydney, Australia. Peter Tsekenis
Peter Nectario Tsekenis (born 4 August 1973) is an Australian former professional soccer player who played as a defender and the current coach of Marconi Stallions. Career Born in Sydney, Tsekenis played at club level for St George, Sydney Olympic, Newcastle United and Belmore Hercules, before becoming player-manager of Bankstown City Lions. Marconi Stadium
Marconi Stadium is a soccer stadium in Sydney, Australia. It is the home ground for Marconi Stallions, as well as regularly hosting matches for the Western Sydney Wanderers FC including their National Youth League and W-League teams. Marconi Stallions Although a soccer pitch had existed on the site since the start of the soccer club in the 1960s, Marconi Stadium itself was built in 1972 with a capacity of 11,500 and used for Marconi Stallions matches within the NSW State League soccer pyramid. In 1977 the team joined the newly formed NSL and played in that competition until it ended in 2004 and the team re-joined the NSW State system. Bossley Park is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Gavin Rae
Gavin Paul Rae (born 28 November 1977) is a Scottish professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He was recently the head coach of National Premier Leagues NSW club Hakoah Sydney City East FC. Rae started his playing career with Dundee, making over 200 league appearances for the club. He moved to Rangers F.C., Rangers in January 2004, but struggled to hold down a regular place in their team due to injury. He moved to Cardiff City F.C., Cardiff City in 2007 and featured regularly in the team that reached the 2008 FA Cup final. Maccabi Hakoah Sydney City East FC, commonly known as Maccabi Hakoah, is an Australian semi-professional soccer club based in Sydney, New South Wales. The club was formed in 1939 as Sydney Hakoah by members of Sydney's Jewish community. They played between 1977 and 1986 in the National Soccer League as Eastern Suburbs (1977–1979) and Sydney City (1979–1987).
