2019 Euro Tour Season
The 2019 Euro Tour Season was a professional pool (cue sports), pool series of events on the Euro Tour held in 2019. The season featured six tournament for both men and five for women, with the first being the 2019 Leende Open, Leende Open and the last being the 2019 Antalya Open (pool), Antalya Open. Calendar Rankings Rankings for the events featured points awarded for players final positions in events with the following scores: Men's Below is a list of the 50 players in terms of ranking points for the 2019 season. Rankings for the Euro Tour consist of the last seven tournaments, so the final event of 2018 – the 2018 Treviso Open is included. Pool (cue Sports)
Pool is a classification of cue sports played on a table with six pockets along the , into which balls are deposited. "Pool billiards" is sometimes hyphenated and/or spelled with a singular "billiard". The WPA itself uses "pool-billiard" in its logo but "pool-billiards" in its legal notices. The organization compounds the words to result in an acronym of "WPA", "WPBA" having already been taken by the Women's Professional Billiards Association. Normal English grammar would not hyphenate here, and the term is actually a Germanism. A general rules booklet on pool games in general, including eight-ball, nine-ball and several others. Each specific pool game has its own name; some of the better-known include eight-ball, blackball, nine-ball, ten-ball, seven-ball, straight pool, one-pocket, and bank pool. 2019 Veldhoven Open
The 2019 Veldhoven Open, officially known as the 2019 Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open, was a professional nine-ball pool tournament and the fourth Euro Tour event of 2019. It was held at the NH Koningshof in Veldhoven, Netherlands. The men's event was held from 1 to 3 August, and the women's event was held from 2 to 4 August. The event followed the Austria Open and preceded the Klagenfurt Open. The men's defending champion was Austria's Mario He, who won the 2018 Veldhoven Open after defeating Albania's Eklent Kaçi 9–8 in the final. He defended his championship, defeating Kaçi in the first knockout round, Germany's Joshua Filler in the semi-finals and Estonia's Denis Grabe in the final 9–2. In the women's event, the defending champion was Austria's Jasmin Ouschan, who defeated Oliwia Czupryńska 7–3 in the final of the previous year's event. 2018 Treviso Open
The Dynamic Billard Treviso Open 2018 (sometimes known as the 2018 Italy Open) was the sixth and final Euro Tour 9-Ball pool event in 2018. The event was won by Russia's Fedor Gorst who defeated Poland's Mateusz Śniegocki 9–7 in the final. This was Gorst's first Euro Tour victory. Wiktor Zieliński was the defending champion, after having won the 2017 Treviso Open, but lost matches to Andreas Madsen and Tobias Bongers in the double elimination round. Tournament format The event saw a total of 193 players compete, in a double-elimination knockout tournament, until the last 32 stage; where the tournament was contested as single elimination. Tina Vogelmann
Tina Vogelmann (born 24 March 1985) is a German professional Pool (cue sports), pool player. Career She began playing pool at the age of 17. From 2002 to 2004 she played in the youth performance squad. In 2004 she completed her training as a C-trainer. Since the summer of 2004 she plays at ''BSF Kurpfalz'' and has been in the women's performance squad ever since. In 2008 she was inducted into the German national team. Since 2007, Tina Vogelmann has won several national titles and participated in international competitions. So she reached the fifth place in the German Championship 2007 in the Women's Combined Team, the third place in the Eight-ball, 8-Ball ladies singles and eventually won the German championship in the Nine-ball, 9-Ball event. Oliwia Zalewska Czuprynska (born 20 January 1995) is a Polish professional pool player. Zalewska is a former WPA World Nine-ball junior champion, winning the ladies event in 2011. She also reached the final the following year, losing in the final to Diana Khodjaeva. She is also a three-time winner of Euro Tour events, winning the 2015 Treviso Open, 2019 Antalya Open and 2019 Klagenfurt Open. The 2019 Klagenfurt Open was a professional nine-ball pool tournament and the sixth of seven Euro Tour events of the 2019 Euro Tour season. The men's event was held between 11 and 13 October, whilst the women's event was held from 13 to 14 October 2019, held at the Sportpark Klagenfurt in Klagenfurt, Austria. The event featured a total prize fund of €38,000, with the winner of each event winning €4,500.
