2019 Diamond League
The 2019 Diamond League was the tenth season of the Diamond League, annual series of outdoor track and field meetings, organised by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). It featured fourteen meetings, with the final two meetings serving as the series finals. It is the third edition to feature the new championship-style system. Prefontaine Classic
The Prefontaine Classic is a track and field meet held at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, United States. Organized by the Oregon Track Club, it was previously one of the IAAF Grand Prix events, and is now part of the Diamond League. The meet is one of the few international competitions to host the imperial distances of the Mile run ( Bowerman Mile) and 2 Mile run. History The first Prefontaine Classic was held in 1975. The meet had its genesis with the Hayward Restoration Meets of 1973–74. The Hayward Restoration meets were launched to help replace the deteriorated wooden West Grandstands at Hayward Field. It was to become the "Bowerman Classic" in 1975 to honor longtime University of Oregon track coach Bill Bowerman, and was scheduled for June 7. 2019 Prefontaine Classic
The 2019 Prefontaine Classic was the 45th edition of the annual outdoor track and field meeting in Palo Alto, California, United States. Held on Sunday 30 June at Cobb Track and Angell Field, it was the seventh leg of the 2019 IAAF Diamond League – the highest-level international track and field circuit. The meet took place away from the regular venue at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, as the location was under renovation in preparation for the 2021 World Athletics Championships. A total of six world leading performances of the year were established at the competition. On the men's side, Christian Coleman won the 100 metres in 9.81 seconds, Timothy Cheruiyot set a time of 3:50.49 to win the 1500 metres, Rai Benjamin won the 400 metres hurdles in 47.16 seconds, and Joshua Cheptegei won the non-Diamond League two miles in 8:07.54 minutes. Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium () was a football stadium in Rabat, Morocco. It was named after Prince Moulay Abdellah of Morocco, It was the home of AS FAR (football club), AS FAR. History The stadium was constructed by a Chinese company when the ground was first broke in 1980 and was built over three years being completed in 1983. It was the home ground of ASFAR (football), AS FAR and used mostly for association football, football matches. It also staged athletics. The stadium had a capacity of 50,000 people. The Meeting International Mohammed VI d'Athlétisme de Rabat is an annual track and field competition at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco as part of the IAAF World Challenge Meetings. It was first organized in 2008, and in 2014 and 2024 it was instead held in Stade de Marrakech in Marrakech. Its name honours Mohammed VI of Morocco, the present king of Morocco. The 2019 Meeting International Mohammed VI d'Athlétisme de Rabat was the 12th edition of the annual outdoor track and field meeting in Rabat, Morocco. Held on 16 June at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium (1983), Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, it was the sixth leg of the 2019 IAAF Diamond League – the highest level international track and field circuit. 21 events were held with 13 of them being point-earning Diamond League disciplines. The other events were held primarily for Moroccan nationals except for the men's 1500 m and 5000 m. Oslo

Bislett Stadium
Bislett Stadium () is a sports stadium in Oslo, Norway. Bislett is Norway's most well known sports arena internationally, with 15 speed skating world records and more than 50 track and field world records having been set here. The original stadium was demolished in 2004 and construction of a new stadium was completed by the summer of 2005. The New Bislett Stadium was designed by C.F. Møller Architects. History Bislett Stadium lies on the site of a 19th-century brick works, which was bought by the Municipality of Kristiania (Oslo) in 1898, and turned into a sports field in 1908. The merchant, speed skater, gymnast and sports organizer Martinus Lørdahl was instrumental in facilitating the construction of the first bleachers, begun in 1917 and completed in 1922 along with the new club house. Bislett Games
The Bislett Games is an annual track and field meeting at the Bislett Stadium in Oslo, Norway. Previously one of the IAAF Golden League events, it is now part of the Diamond League. History The first international athletics meeting at Bislett was held in 1924. Until 1937 the competitions are known as "The American Meetings", similar to the Weltklasse Zürich#History, international meetings in Zürich. Different organizers staged the meetings between 1947 and 1965 until the three athletics associations BUL, Vidar and Tjalve formed the Bislett Alliance. At this year Arne Haukvik founded the Bislett Games. He was a former politician and director of the meeting, who used to invite the athletes, sponsors and the press to his home for his traditional "strawberry party" the day before the event each year. The 2019 Bislett Games was the 55th edition of the annual outdoor track and field meeting in Oslo, Norway. Held on 13 June at Bislett Stadium, it was the fifth leg of the 2019 IAAF Diamond League – the highest level international track and field circuit. 29 events were contested with 13 of them being point-scoring Diamond League disciplines. Local favorite Karsten Warholm, running in the men's 400 metres hurdles, won in a new European record time of 47.33 seconds, improving on the previous European record of 47.37 seconds that was set by Stéphane Diagana for France in 1995.
