Each national team was allowed to choose twenty players to represent their country in the tournament. All players born on or after 1 January 2002 were eligible to play the tournament. 2019 CONCACAF U-17 Championship
The 2019 CONCACAF U-17 Championship was the 6th edition of the CONCACAF Under-17 Championship (19th edition if all eras included), the men's under-17 international association football, football tournament organized by CONCACAF. It was hosted in the United States between 1 May and 16 May 2019. The top four teams qualified for the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil as CONCACAF representatives. Mexico national under-17 football team, Mexico were the defending champions, and won a fourth consecutive title. Qualified teams The format for qualification had changed since the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Championship qualifying, 2017 edition. Chituru Ethan Odunze (born October 14, 2002) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Major League Soccer club Charlotte FC. Early life Born in Raleigh, North Carolina, Odunze moved to England as a child and played for local youth teams before spending time in the Chelsea academy. Raphaël Wicky (born 26 April 1977) is a Swiss football coach and a former defender. He was most recently the manager of Swiss Super League club Young Boys, whom he led to a domestic double.
