2018–19 Oregon State Beavers Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Oregon State Beavers men's basketball team represented Oregon State University in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Beavers, led by fifth-year head coach Wayne Tinkle, played their home games at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Oregon as members of the Pac-12 Conference. They finished the season 18–13, 10–8 in Pac-12 play to finish in a three-way tie for fourth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 tournament to Colorado. Despite having 18 wins and a winning conference record they failed to get an invitation to the National Invitation Tournament and also ruled out of the College Basketball Invitational. Previous season The 2017–18 Beavers finished the 2017–18 season 16–16, 7–11 in Pac-12 play to finish in tenth place. Wayne Tinkle
Wayne Francis Tinkle II (born January 26, 1966) is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach of the Oregon State Beavers men's basketball, Oregon State Beavers men's team of the West Coast Conference. Prior to his arrival in Corvallis, Oregon, Corvallis in 2014, he was the head coach for eight seasons in the Big Sky Conference at his alma mater, Montana Grizzlies basketball, Montana, preceded by five years with the Griz as an assistant coach. Tinkle played professionally for twelve seasons until 2000, including stints in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) and International Basketball League (IBL) and in Sweden, Spain, Italy, and Greece. JaQuori McLaughlin (born January 29, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for Pelita Jaya Basketball Club, Pelita Jaya of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL). The Montana Grizzlies basketball team represents the University of Montana in men's college basketball. They compete at the NCAA Division I level and are members of the Big Sky Conference. Kendal Allen Manuel (born September 13, 1997) is an American-Mozambican professional basketball player who last played for Union Tarbes-Lourdes Pyrénées Basket of the Nationale Masculine 1.
