2018–19 KNVB Cup
The 2018–19 KNVB Cup, for sponsoring reasons officially called the TOTO KNVB Cup, was the 101st edition of the Dutch national football annual knockout tournament for the KNVB Cup. 64 teams contested, beginning on 18 August 2018 with the first of two preliminary rounds and ending on 5 May 2019 at the final played at De Kuip in Rotterdam. Feyenoord from the Eredivisie beat AZ 3–0 in the final in the previous season on 30 April 2018. They were eliminated by Ajax in the semi-finals. Ajax contested in the 2019 Johan Cruyff Shield against PSV Eindhoven. Schedule Matches Preliminary rounds The draw for the preliminary rounds were performed by Ridgeciano Haps on 7 July 2018 and was streamed live on the website of the KNVB. De Kuip
Stadion Feijenoord (), more commonly known by its nickname De Kuip (, the Tub), is a stadium in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It was completed in 1937. The name is derived from the Feijenoord district in Rotterdam, and from the club with the same name (although the club's name was internationalised to Feyenoord in 1973). The stadium's original capacity was 64,000. In 1949, it was expanded to 69,000, and in 1994 it was converted to a 51,117-seat all-seater. In 1999, a significant amount of restoration and interior work took place at the stadium before its use as a venue in the UEFA Euro 2000 tournament, although capacity was largely unaffected. Royal Dutch Football Association
The Royal Dutch Football Association (, ; KNVB ) is the governing body of football in the Netherlands. It organises the main Dutch football leagues ( Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie), the amateur leagues, the KNVB Cup, and the Dutch men's and women's national teams. HV & CV Quick, also known as Quick Den Haag, is a Dutch football and cricket club from The Hague. Since 2017, its first male football squad plays in the Derde Divisie. Quick is the Dutch National Football Champion of 1908 and Dutch National Cup winner of 1909, 1910, 1911, and 1916. Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht () is a town and municipality in the western Netherlands. It is located on the island of IJsselmonde, and borders with Zwijndrecht, Ridderkerk, and the Noord River (with Alblasserdam and Papendrecht on the other side).
