2018 Primera B De Chile
The 2018 Primera B de Chile, known as the 2018 Campeonato Loto for sponsorship purposes, was the 65th season of Chile's second-tier football league. The competition began on 2 February 2018 and ended on 1 December 2018. Coquimbo Unido were the champions. Format The tournament was played by 16 teams which played each other twice (once at home and once away), for a total of 30 matches. The team that finished in first place at the end of the round-robin tournament earned promotion to the Campeonato Nacional for the 2019 season. Meanwhile, the teams finishing from second to sixth place played in a playoff tournament for the second promotion berth, with the season runners-up having a bye to the final. The team finishing in bottom place at the end of the season was relegated to the Segunda División Profesional. Campeonato Primera B () is the second tier in the Chilean football league system, and is organized by the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional. It was established in 1952 as ''Segunda División'', and later renamed in 1996 to the current name. Since 1954, automatic promotion to and relegation from Campeonato Nacional has been granted, although Palestino and Rangers were promoted to the top flight in the first season. Ñublense
Club Deportivo Ñublense () is a professional Association football, football team based in Chillán, Ñuble Region, Chile. The club was formed in 1916 under the name of Liceo Fútbol Club. They compete in Chile's Chilean Primera División, Primera División. History Amateur era Ñublense was formed in 1916 by a group of teenagers (led by Chillán teacher Manuel Lara Gutiérrez) who founded a sports club as a haven for sports activities in the city. Estadio Bicentenario Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso is a multi-purpose stadium in Coquimbo, Chile. Currently, it is mostly used for football matches. It is the home stadium of Coquimbo Unido. El Salvador is a mining town in the commune of Diego de Almagro, Chañaral Province, Atacama Region, Chile. Estadio Municipal "Zorros del Desierto" de Calama ( ) is a football stadium in Calama, Chile owned by the Municipality of Calama, it is the home field of the Cobreloa football team and sometimes used by Chile national football team to serve as home ground. Calama, Chile
Calama is a city and commune in the Atacama Desert in northern Chile. It is the capital of El Loa Province, part of the Antofagasta Region. Calama is one of the driest cities in the world with average annual precipitation of just . The River Loa, Chile's longest, flows through the city. Calama has a population of 147,886 (2012 census). Unión San Felipe is a Chilean football club, their hometown is San Felipe in the V Región of Valparaíso. They play in the second level of the Chilean football league, the Primera B.
