2018 Overton's 225
The 2018 Overton's 225 was the 11th stock car race of the 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season and the 10th iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, June 29, 2018, in Joliet, Illinois at Chicagoland Speedway, a permanent D-shaped oval. The race took the scheduled 150 laps to complete. At race's end, a hard-charging Brett Moffitt, driving for Hattori Racing Enterprises would pass the fuel-ailing John Hunter Nemechek of NEMCO Motorsports on the final lap to take Moffitt's 4th career win in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and his 3rd of the season. To fill out the podium, Ben Rhodes of ThorSport Racing and Johnny Sauter of GMS Racing would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Brett Bradley Moffitt (born August 7, 1992) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 1 Toyota Tundra for Tricon Garage and the No. 4 Chevrolet Silverado for Hettinger Racing and part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 19 Toyota GR Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing. Benjamin Jon Rhodes (born February 21, 1997) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 99 Ford F-150 for ThorSport Racing. He is the 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, 2021 and 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, 2023 Truck Series champion. Cody Coughlin (born December 11, 1995) is an American professional drag and stock car racing driver. He competes in the National Hot Rod Association's Pro Stock class for KB Titan Racing, and part-time in the ARCA/CRA Super Series and CARS Pro Late Model Tour for his family team Coughlin Brothers Racing. He has also competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series in the past. Camden Murphy (born July 23, 1996) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 08 Ford Mustang for SS-Green Light Racing, and in Monster Jam, driving the Classroom Crusher truck.
