The 2018 Men's International Hockey Open is a men's field hockey tournament being held at the Marrara Hockey Centre. It will take place between 18 – 22 September 2018 in Darwin, Australia. A total of four teams will compete for the title. Jake Michael Harvie (born 5 March 1998) is an Australian field hockey player who plays as a defender for the Australian national team. He also is a Commonwealth Games gold medallist. Harvie was born in Dardanup, Western Australia, and made his senior international debut at the 2017 International Festival of Hockey in Bendigo, Australia. Corey Weyer (born 28 March 1996) is an Australian field hockey player who plays as a defender for the Australian national team. Career Junior National Teams Weyer has represented Australia at junior level in both Under 18 and Under 21 age groups. In 2014, Weyer was a member of the Australia Under 18 side at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China. The team won the gold medal, defeating Canada 3–2 in a penalty shoot-out following a 3–3 draw. Thomas William Craig (born 3 September 1995) is an Australian field hockey player who plays as a midfielder for the Australian national team. Colin Batch
Colin Batch (born 27 March 1958) is a professional international field hockey coach and former international player from Australia. Batch is the head coach of the Australian Men's national hockey team the '' Kookaburras'' following his appointment on Tuesday 6 December 2016. He was the head coach of the New Zealand Men's national hockey team the '' Black Sticks'' between 2013 and 2016. Prior to this he was the head coach of the Belgium Men's national hockey team the '' Red Lions'' from 2010 to 2012. Martín Ignacio Ferreiro (born 21 October 1997) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a forward for German Bundesliga club Crefelder HTC and the Argentine national team. Agustín Fernando Bugallo (born 23 April 1995) is an Argentine field hockey player for who plays as a midfielder for Mitre and the Argentine national team. Club career Bugallo played for BHC and Mitre in Argentina until 2019. In July 2019, it was announced he would play for Pinoké in the Netherlands for the 2019–20 season. Lucas Rafael Rossi (born 2 June 1985) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a midfielder for Belgian club Braxgata and the Argentine national team. Agustín Alejandro Mazzilli (born 20 June 1989) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a midfielder or forward for Belgian Hockey League club Braxgata and the Argentine national team. Nicolás Cicileo (born 1 October 1993) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a defender for Belgian Hockey League club Herakles and the Argentine national team.
