The men's high jump at the 2018 IAAF World U20 Championships was held at Ratina Stadium on 12 and 14 July. Records Results Qualification The qualification round took place on 12 July, in two groups, both starting at 19:44. Athletes attaining a mark of at least 2.17 metres ( ) or at least the 12 best performers ( ) qualified for the final. Final The final was held on 14 July at 10:40. Ratina Stadium
Tampere Stadium (), also known as Ratina Stadium (), designed by architect Timo Penttilä and completed in 1965, is a multi-purpose stadium in Tampere, Finland, with a seating capacity of 16,800 people, and up to 32,000 people for concerts. In 2018, the stadium hosted the 2018 IAAF World U20 Championships, IAAF World U20 Championships. Alexey Fadeyev (); born 10 December 1977) is a Russian nordic combined athlete who competed from 1998 to 2002. Vladyslav Fedorovych Lavskyy (; born 16 March 2000) is a Ukrainian track and field athlete. Lavskyy was born in Mena and won bronze in the high jump at the 2017 IAAF World U18 Championships. He is studying at the Lviv National Stepan Gzhytsky University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology. He won a gold medal in the high jump at the 2021 Summer World University Games.
