FC Seoul
FC Seoul ( ko, FC 서울) is a South Korean professional football club based in Seoul that competes in the K League 1, the top flight of South Korean football. The club is owned by GS Sports, a subsidiary of GS Group. They play their home games at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. The club was officially founded as Lucky-Goldstar Football Club in 1983, by the Lucky-Goldstar Group, and was later renamed as LG Cheetahs in 1990. Due to the K League decentralization policy in 1996, the club was relocated to the Seoul's satellite city of Anyang for eight years, before returning to Seoul in 2004. FC Seoul have won six K League titles, two FA Cups, two League Cups and one Super Cup. Internationally, the club reached the AFC Champions League final on two occasions, in 2001–02 and 2013. Yanbian (; Chosŏn'gŭl: , ''Yeonbyeon''), officially known as the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, is an autonomous prefecture in the east of Jilin Province, China. Choi Yong-soo
Choi Yong-soo (born 10 September 1973) is a South Korean professional football manager and former player. Playing career Choi played as a striker for Anyang LG Cheetahs (currently FC Seoul) in South Korea's K League. In 2000, he led Anyang to the K League title, receiving the K League MVP Award. He is considered one of the FC Seoul's legends. Choi also played for the South Korean national team in 1998 and 2002 FIFA World Cup. Managerial career Choi was appointed as the assistant coach of FC Seoul in August 2006, and was promoted as the caretaker manager in April 2011. In association footballing terms, a caretaker manager or interim manager is somebody who takes temporary charge of the management of a football team, usually when the regular manager is dismissed or leaves for a different club. Lee Sang-ho (; born 9 May 1987) is a South Korean football winger who most recently played for FC Seoul. Club career Lee start his club career at Ulsan Hyundai in 2006. On 13 February 2009, Lee moved to the Suwon Samsung. On 26 January 2012, Lee moved to the UAE Pro-League side Al Sharjah on a loan deal until lasting May 31. Cho Young-wook (; born 5 February 1999) is a South Korean footballer who plays as a forward for FC Seoul. Club career Cho joined FC Seoul in January 2018. He made his K League 1 debut against Jeju United on 1 March 2018. Cho enlisted in military football team Gimcheon Sangmu to perform his mandatory military service in January 2023. While playing for Sangmu, he had 13 goals and 5 assists in 27 K League 2 appearances, and won the league title. He was discharged early from the military service as an Asian Games gold medalist after the 2023 season. Matsumoto Yamaga FC
or Simply Matsumoto Yamaga FC (松本山雅, ''Matsumoto Yamaga Efu Shī'') is the Japanese football (soccer) club based in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture. Park Chu-young (; ; also romanised as Park Ju-young; born 10 July 1985) is a South Korean footballer who plays for Ulsan Hyundai as a forward. Club career FC Seoul In February 2005, Park joined a K League club FC Seoul with the highest salary among rookie players. In his first season, he scored 18 goals and provided 4 assists in 30 appearances (including the Korean League Cup), receiving the K League Young Player of the Year award by common consent for the first time in K League history.
