The 2018 Clemson Tigers football team represented Clemson University during the 2018 NCAA Division I FBS football season. William Christopher "Dabo" Swinney (; born November 20, 1969) is an American college football coach, currently serving as the head football coach at Clemson Tigers football, Clemson University. Austin Bryant (born November 12, 1996) is an American professional football defensive end. He played college football for the Clemson Tigers. Early life Bryant attended Thomas County Central High School in Thomasville, Georgia. He committed to Clemson University to play college football. Two human polls and a committee's selections comprised the 2018 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) football rankings, in addition to various publications' preseason polls. Unlike most sports, college football's governing body, the NCAA, does not bestow a national championship, instead that title is bestowed by one or more different polling agencies.
