The 2018 Buckle Up in Your Truck 225 was the 12th stock car race of the 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season and the eighth iteration of the event. The race was held on Thursday, July 12, 2018, in Sparta, Kentucky, at Kentucky Speedway, a 1.5-mile (2.41 km) tri-oval speedway. The race took the scheduled 150 laps to complete. The Buckle Up in Your Truck 225 presented by Click It or Ticket was a annual race NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race held at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky. Kentucky received a second date beginning in 2011 as part of NASCAR's latest round of schedule realignment; since 2000 the track had always held a Truck Series event. History In the inaugural UNOH 225, which was held on July 7, 2011, Johnny Sauter won the pole position, but Kyle Busch won the race during a green-white-checkered finish. Busch started in the last position after missing the drivers meeting held earlier that day. The race was removed from the NASCAR schedule in 2021. Matthew Justin Crafton (born June 11, 1976) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He is a three-time champion of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (2013, 2014, 2019), in which he competes full-time, driving the No. 88 Ford F-150 for ThorSport Racing. Early career Crafton was born in Tulare, California. Before turning to NASCAR racing in 2000, he raced go-karts, midgets, and mini sprints.
